Yeah and that's why he hates Booker in particular so much

Quick, someone invent time travel! We need to get back to 2010 and fix Bioshock Infinite! ...and probably also do some other things as well.

Yeah, that's the problem with going back in time to fix things, no matter how far back you go, there's always more stuff to fix further back. To prevent paradoxes/insanity, let's just apply "Quantum Leap" rules.

That's just gonna cause all NEW paradoxes

Ironically, considering the multiverse rules that B:I operates under, you could make improved version of the game that shares only the basic concepts (Columbia, a girl named Elizabeth with powers you have to save, the PC being named Booker DeWitt and the villain named Comstock)->

It's strongly implied one of the alternate universes in this game is the version of it they showed in the famous E3 demo that they never actually finished

(And that was much more expansive and impressive than the game ended up being but oh would you look at the time...)

Yeah one of the Elizabeths who shows up in the ending is the original character model from that demo

Yeah, but I don't think you could make a version of B:I that was good without ditching the whole "Booker is Comstock" plot point. Let them be separate characters.

This was absolutely an ass pull and it's impossible to pretend otherwise Not just different voice actors but wildly different faces and character models, and a goofy-ass explanations for all the timeline problems it causes

("Comstock has been artificially aged", "Booker has amnesia", "Comstock changed his name but still campaigned for office under Booker's war hero history even though that's a matter of public record")

It's just coming back to me now that - okay, fine, Booker doesn't recognize Comstock because of quantum flux + beard, he has no reason to recognize Anna as an adult But he doesn't recognize *Lady Comstock*, by face or voice?
