I mean yes I am aware that she's just referencing a genre of utopian radfem literature where the cultural concept of fatherhood is abolished and sperm is just a pharmaceutical you get from the hospital etc etc I find it unconvincing

This scenario would change the dynamics of coparenting and remove accidental pregnancies, partner pressure pregnancies, and the expectation that marriage would lead to pregnancies. I suspect that if pregnancies were a deliberate choice, removed from sex, there would be far fewer.
