I mean it's supposed to be but it wasn't that serious a concern by the late 90s, even just having higher-quality CRTs reduced the actual risk of burn-in by a lot

Ironically, this is an example of a screensaver where, if your monitor actually was prone to burn-in, you'd be pretty likely get a burned in ghost image of the two positions of the "Current Dance Style" banner
