I still say if we're crossing franchises that there's a great Shadow of Mordor spinoff potential about Ellie Gamgee's fight to avenge her father after an orc whose dad he stabbed in Mordor tracks down the Shire, but then that orc is protecting a trans elf kid

So someone went ham on this and said that when the Orcs were torturing Gollum for information on who had the Ring, they had a big debate over how to interpret his anguished scream of "SHIRE! BAGGINS!" Whether it was a person named Baggins from a place called Shire or vice versa

So it was eventually decided they had two leads, and 2/3 of the Nazgul were sent to the southern kingdoms of Harad to seek out the dashing merchant-adventurer Ahmad al-Shair in the great port city of Baghenza While the rest went to check out the Hobbit theory just to make sure

The quest and eventual fate of the other 18 Nazgul are memorably recounted in "The Fourth Tale of Al-Shair the Sailor, or: The Pestilence of the Northern Ifrit", as told by Scheherazade
