Of any of the comic book guys I could name, Joe Quesada, Brad Meltzer, and Bill Jemas are the only ones I'd put anywhere near the Rowline, but here's the thing—ultimately if they were as self-serving and creatively bankrupt as JKR, none of them would be wasting away making comics

There's an definitely argument Jordan was pretty Rowline-adjacent. He seems to have been squeezing out the cash cow as long as he could and his friendship with GRRM is incriminating. But he's still better than JKRhttps://twitter.com/Jesin00/status/1208265521269035008 …

Rothfuss is not at all a good writer but to his meager credit the companion he wrote for TORMENT: TIDES OF NUMENERA was about a thousand times more interesting and likeable than any character JKR has _ever_ written Plus he _clearly_ likes what he doeshttps://twitter.com/Cybren/status/1208267140178087936 …

Got asked this one by a few ppl and truthfully I don't know much about Brooks or the Shannara series but on a craftsmanship basis he was CLEARLY putting more effort in than JKR because he knew enough about SFF to know which of its tropes he was subvertinghttps://twitter.com/seandehey/status/1208268334690553856 …

So this one _seems_ tricky, because GRRM is in the same vein as JKR in terms of being a hackish, self-serving writer with an overinflated sense of himself, but let me tell you why it's easy in the end Christmas.https://twitter.com/Jesin00/status/1208273542439198722 …

There's no sensible reason for wizards, who at a young age are effortlessly able to replicate basically any of Christ's miracles, to acknowledge or worship Jesus JKR, in classic lazy JKR fashion, never explained this GRRM absolutely would have done so. That would be step one

Addenda: 1) Benioff and Weiss are Rowline-parallel at worst, with it being necessary to state they're better by virtue of having done significantly less harm. Nothing they've written is more hackneyed than Harry Potter 2) Chuck Lorre is WAY above, idk wtf I was thinking

3) L.Ron is Rowline parallel; the question of whether he's even remotely better at writing is a moot point whereas the question of whether he's fundamentally done more harm to the world than Rowling is increasingly contentious

4) While Ctrl+Alt+Del is still a trite, unoriginal, hackneyed, absolutely painfully derivative and stale-out-of-the-box webcomic symbolizing a geek's fundamental sense of entitlement I am increasingly conflicted about my earlier statement that it is less creative than HP
