There's relatively little I have to be scared of as a nobody from the USA but even just on a personal level I find JKR's radicalization terrifying and know that it makes it much more dangerous for me to speak out now than it was before

I can't imagine a more cowardly way to go through life than to say that when you're really really upset about something because the people you're opposed to seem so much more powerful than you are, it's a sign you should admit you're wrong and change your position
