in this episode, Taibbi,Will, and Amber don't see Trump as their main enemy. They don't see liberals as their main enemy either. They see antiracism at their main enemy.

They go after the 1619 project, they sneer at Mariame Kaba, they defend cops, they blame antiracism for derailing the campaigns of their heroes Sanders and Corbyn.

they don't express solidarity of any sort with the antiracist uprising currently ongoing. They only mention it do dismiss it, or say it's too violent, or going after the wrong targets. Mostly they ignore it.

Will's mostly a fool; Taibbi's a reactionary dipshit; Amber is I think pretty consciously fash.

It's barely even class first leftism at this point, in the sense that delegitimizing and defeating antiracism appears to be much more important to them than any left goal.

This is substantially worse than they were the last time I checked in with them. Partly the mix of hosts, I think. But I also think that they're working their way down that slippery slope.

not sure how much worse they can get, but if you're supporting them, this might be a good time to stop.

You can feel unhappy and depressed without going fascist! It's not always easy, if you have fascist tendencies to begin with, but it's worth making the effort!
