the key part of the phrase "presumption of good faith" is *presumption,* ie it's a defeasible assumption that can be overturned by evidence, not an axiomatic truth that must not be questioned

I usually understand good faith as "I'm actually asking this question because I don't know the answer, not because I'm setting up an argument or playing devil's advocate," but idk what that would be in the context of listening to a podcast.
