There's always one specific type of working class to these people and it's always white as the driven snow. And reminder all this started because an old white congressman decided to verbally accost her. Then his 'apology' was just a humblebrag.

Usually agree with most of your takes Arthur... but classism isn’t your color.
-
Arthur's tweet is blatantly calling out classism. The assumption of the tweet he's responding to is that workers are bigots and so a worker's movement cannot have a focus on anti-bigotry lest it alienate this stereotypical image of the lower class.

right-wingers love to be like "this person makes the left look bad because they don't pander to [insert perennially right-wing demographic]"

For some reason I just want to point out that Ilhan Omar has an extremely credible primary challenger. It’s by no means a given that she will be the DFL candidate in MN.
-
1) We're talking about AOC, so bringing up one of her friends and colleagues is a weird-if-revealing tangent to go on 2) Omar appears to be up by 37 pointshttps://www.newsweek.com/ilhan-omar-leads-primary-race-rival-huge-fundraising-lead-1518576 …

AOC is a glorified social media influencer who can't hold a candle to smaller name Dems like Lauren Underwood who is more dedicated to lawmaking than to building a brand.
