Hey incidentally who remembers LA Noire, remember how the protagonist had horrible PTSD that made him do bad things like abandon his wife and family and ruin his own life and then you switched protagonists to a character who hated that guy? I bet everyone despised that game

Yeah they didn't have facial mocap down then But also, I played it on an SDTV, one of the old ones with a curved screen. So I was always gonna have to use a guide :P

To be fair it was more realistic than most cop games in that you canonically got a ton of innocent people locked up.

Yeah I picked up on the fact that the "correct" endings to each of the Homicide missions were frame jobs pretty early on and got mad at being railroaded, although of course that's the point

By the time you get to the Arson missions this is explicit and on the table -- the Arson unit exists just to find a convenient patsy when the fire was undeniably arson, arson investigations are openly seen by the department as bullshit
