I don't contest that at all. Squaring away the relationship between the two, or reconciling the social good of the latter with the evils of Christianity as a whole and historically, isn't my work to do or a particularly pressing issue so I generally leave the subject alone.

My overall thought here is just that when we're talking about 2000 years and billions of people, generalizations aren't that helpful. It's just on every side of every argument.
