So this indicates that it's quite likely that Doom 3 is also "canon" and either took place in Doom 2016's timeline many years ago and was covered up or was just another timeline entirely Same with stuff like the Doom novels, the movie with The Rock, etc

Anyway yeah it was probably a bit much to expect a Doom novelization series to be *good* but the massive left turn those books took when they left the plot of the games behind certainly was something
