Loved Ex Machina~ Really don't think the men could have been redeemed in that movie because it was specifically showing a toxic relationship. Nathan felt he owned Ava. Caleb felt he was owed Ava. There's no redeeming either.

It's the latter more than the former, there were complaints that the ending of the movie seemed to be foreclosing the idea of solidarity among robots (or, dropping the metaphor, among women) but that bleakness is what makes the whole film

I wasnt a fan but mostly cause the movie never explained how shes gonna charge her battery now. Which is nitpicky and i wouldnt even notice except charging her battery was a major plot point
