I've been thinking about why that game has such a reputation as a classic despite its many huge obvious flaws Maybe because of them Like it's still a bundle of Infinity Engine CRPG cliches, and not a very polished one, because they had to put it together in one afternoon

It's all very familiar and easy to detach from, like as you said "I don't care about any of these people" But in this game that's part of the story Not giving a shit about any of this and just wanting to take your XP and go is an attitude Kreia actively encourages
