I didn't really get huge tbh. we get shunted over to Abby so quickly afterwards and for so long that it made my initial reaction to Jesse peter out by the time we got back to it.

Yeah bluntly Jessie is super disposable. My honest feeling is that TLOU2 is a lot more invested in Abby than Ellie.

Hell I will say that at this point, at least, I feel semi comfortable saying that Abby is the actual "conventional" protagonist structurally of TLOU2, regardless of their actual morality.
