This is especially true for binary trans characters. If it's truly no big deal, then unless you follow the character regularly when they do things like inject hormones, chances are that you will never ever know, and the only ways you would are ways people seem to object to

Like in all seriousness the reason to say that Black actors must play Black characters isn't just to avoid bad choices and minstrelsy, it's also just to give people a reason not to hire Troy Baker again

Pretty much. Because the opposite is fine. Ashley from Mass Effect was played by a black actress, Kimberly Brooks. She also played an Asari or two.
