That's how you persuade a Republican that Trump is bad--explain that he's a bad way to make the country great. Do you know how persuasion works? You understand what the person you're trying to persuade wants and then show them how to get it.

What I understand about persuasion is that it mostly doesn't work

For instance, you are trying to use this technique on me right now and miserably failing, because we can all tell that you are very clumsily trying to imitate someone who shares my values without actually understanding what they are

I'm not trying to persuade you, I'm trying to persuade others who are reading the thread. People most likely not participating in the conversation because they're on the fence

Yeah, that's also the only reason I have these conversations, and the way to do that is to appeal to the values I actually share with them, by using someone like you as a negative example to hold in contempt and disgust

Scott, of course, does this too, but he's not doing it the way you claim he does He doesn't really care about convincing his Nazi fans to vote against Trump, he cares about saying "Look I'm voting for Hillary but I'm still a rational, levelheaded anti-SJW guy you can hang with"

You're telling me that a Jewish man's main concern when blogging is appeasing his Nazi audience?

He has literally been confronted in public about this and chosen to mute/ban the person confronting him rather than the Nazis in question So yes, that is what I think

Scott has a post about how if you aren't careful, right wingers will take over your blog comments, and he's explicitly said that he takes a hard line with them and is more willing to ban them even when he would not do so for others

This is the most laughably obvious falsehood to anyone who even just looks at the comments The famous article exhorting people to vote against Trump *immediately* devolves into floods of angry Trumpists defending Trump's honor at great length

Fuck If STEVE FUCKING SAILER comments on your blog at all and you do not immediately cuss him out and ban him how am I supposed to trust you
