Honestly even that's not accurate, taking into account that realistic genetics aren't really a thing in D&D's magical setting They very clearly are "races" as imagined by old school races

The thing I don't get is, this still doesn't force you to make every campaign morally grey and nuanced - plenty of stories set in the real world feature simple good vs. evil. I mean, Nazis alone... There's only one reason to get pissed at this, and we all know what it is.
