And I'm proud to say that neither Scott nor I have changed in any important way since

Btw I dug up that "viral post" today and apparently Scott actually went to the trouble of changing your name in it once you started to get newsworthy? That's pretty funny, the above thread considered.

Lol, I was at my most newsworthy at the moment he wrote the post and the post stayed up with my real name for a full year You really don't get to play that card

Why did he change it later then? Did you ask him to?
1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -
No, he describes why he changed it in a later post Someone accused him of carrying water for the right wing, he felt all guilty and changed my name, then made shit up about how he'd changed it a few days later (instead of 360 days later)

All that sounds like actions of an irredeemable monster

Well, it's the actions of a prick It's the actual content of the blog that's irredeemable

Then you can just.. not read it?
That same blog helped me through some really tough times and I've seen enough testimonials from others who feel the same way. Why does that matter less than Scott's incelposting from 2012?2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -
Because he's actively rehabilitating scientific racism? The same reason I was pissed at him six years ago?

Getting rid of Scott will not solve racism, Arthur. The same people who were justifying racism by quoting Scott will just find somebody else, somebody who's actually horrible and much harder to cancel.

You mean the people who were literally on Scott's blog whom he saw his duty as facilitating discussion among?

Replying to @arthur_affect @wr1nkl3 and
Of course I don't think Scott is worse than Steve Sailer But right now Scott and Steve Sailer *both* have platforms and Scott's blog serves as a funnel to Steve's writing Take Scott away and Steve's visibility shrinks

As a regular SSC reader I have no idea who Steve Sailer is
