Honestly if I knew the threat of "doxing" (for someone who objectively already is doxed, his real name is a well known open secret) were a big enough deal to make Scott Alexander log off and shut up forever I probably should've done it years ago

And grabbing the mathematical concept of "Kolmogorov complexity" off Wikipedia as a hook for this stupid self-pitying rant "What's the optimal way for me to convey the fact that I'm in the secret society to my fellow members with the lowest risk of getting canceled"
-
And the people acting all intrigued like "What kind of dark hidden vital truths could be be talking about?!" were just trying to play along with this pathetic kayfabe (It's scientific racism, it's always scientific racism)

Yeah, i'm pretty sure (having read the post, albeit awhile back) that Scott Alexander doesn't actually understand K-complexity and is just using it as a suitably LW-esque metaphor.
-
Mind you, i only have the barest, most nodding acquaintance with K-complexity myself, acquired mostly via osmosis from mathematician friends. But i'm pretty confident that it's more than SA has.

This sounds like the basic story they tell themselves about our own society. All of these people are the guy in Confederacy of Dunces, only they're obsessed with making like esoteric nazi AI systems or...whatever their whole deal is.
