There can be social norms that people deserve to get paid for their labor and people who seek to avoid doing so are bad people Supporting those doesn't mean you necessarily support police or the state

I believe that people deserve to get paid for their labor there's no way to enforce IP law without a surveillance/police state. DRM is clearly insufficient, how else do you stop a student from sharing a PDF with a classmate
