The whole Cult of Customer Service and specifically the slogan "The customer is always right" is in fact a big part of why society started to go to hell

(Yes, I know, "What if the employee was being racist?" I have said before that I think kneejerk "Nobody should get fired ever for any reason" sentiments are ridiculous That said, if you don't *generally sympathize* with "You know what fuck the customers" you're not on the left)

That's the whole point of my favorite part of The Grapes of Wrath To paraphrase, "A Red is any sumbitch who just wants a bigger paycheck without providing additional value to the customer" "Well then, hell, I'm a Red! Everyone's a Red!"
