You keep trying to shoehorn the argument with fallacious reasoning. The laws themselves are monopolies and thus should be abolished as well. Wake me up when you admit the State is inherently a monopoly that chains us all together as its property.

There are some reforms I think are obviously reasonable (reducing copyright terms, for instance) that have nothing to do with the stuff people are currently fighting about, like CDL

(I think it's pretty obvious that long copyright terms benefit corporations more than small individuals but that by contrast widespread piracy of currently copyrighted works hurt the small individuals proportionately way more than the big corporations)

They still contain the same issues especially with algorithms. Oracle has abused patents repeatedly to the detriment of all in software development. There needs to be a strict bounds to patent applicability. Math and programs should be excluded wholesale.

Then there's also the matter of patent trolls who get a patent but refuse to produce the implementation of the patent. They don't even attempt to find licensees who would in good faith be interested, they rather sue all and extract value out of others on the vaguest grounds.
