The very fact that IA still calls this a "library" rather than a pirate server like any other, which it now is, betrays their awareness of the optics here. And I am someone who very much supports their projects, as a rule, but they're simply lying about what they're doing here.
except they weren't permanent copies. they worked only for a limited time. so they still acted as a library, just with more copies of each book.
