"Nazis gain power when you allow them to speak and organize in secret rather than allowing them to do so in public" How about you don't allow them to do it at all

I agree, you shouldn't be allowing them to communicate and organize in secret You should be FIGHTING them in public Not letting them stand on a stage and give their opinions like it's a debate

You know what should be public, and as public as possible about the right wing Is their crimes

The reason you burst into a Nazi's smelly little hole and drag him struggling into the public square in broad daylight is not, in fact, to allow him to then continue talking

Everyone who says that we need sunlight to disinfect is implicitly arguing for keeping ideas "alive" forever and ever, never *actually* disinfecting It's like saying that eliminating smallpox was horrible for humankind because, in the long run, that eliminated smallpox immunity

This would be a fun argument if you got caught with a cannabis farm or something. "I just wanted to use sunlight as disinfectant so I could defeat the cannabis in the marketplace of ideas".

Right? The infectious disease lab I work in uses 70% ETOH, bleach, a couple of chemical disinfectants, and sustained high pressure steam. We do not use sunlight to disinfect anything

The idea of cleaning or disinfecting something being as easy as leaving it out in the sun so the natural elements can take care of it is the mindset of a lazy coward Nothing cleans itself Get in there and scrub until the stains are gone
