The new laptop got a crack in the display a while ago and while I was waiting to get it fixed I tried booting up the old Linux laptop and the process of trying to upgrade it to the latest version of Mint while keeping all my old stuff on it intact basically broke me

I gave up on it partly because I was lying earlier, when I said I wanted to "learn more about computers" what I meant was that I hoped someone seeing me running Linuxwould cause them to see me as attractive and intelligent and ask to sleep with me, and this has never occurred

Along similar (or maybe opposite, I dunno) lines, I used to be a loyal iPhone user for many years until eventually the 10% surcharge on anything that has a Lightning cable instead of a USB cable also finally wore out my patience
