I'll add that the conspiracy theory about SC , while dumb, had a clear claim: "There is a release ready Snyder Cut out there" Shooting additional footage for 30 mil$ goes against this claim.

Editing is a thing! The folks that demand longer movies often don’t get *why*. I remember the “improved” cut of the first Star Wars movie and the thing is, the original cuts were absolutely justified.

The additional scenes if anything mess up the pacing and add nothing to the narrative itself (except *maybe* the short scene with Luke and his buddies, which never made it to final cuts anyway)
