Maybe so. My impression was based on the assumption that all press is good press, and that a prestige pic origin story reinforced facebooks standing as a mainstay institution in the public’s eye. I think the symbolic brand enhancement of a connection to an Oscar winning film

Outweighs any harm that the actual content of that film might do, since that’s all just hearsay and fact distortion and most people tend to remember the main points of the media they consume much more than the details.
