It would be the SAWAGii remix of Kavinsky's "Nightcall" and it would accompany a full narrative role reversal as the slasher villain realizes with dawning dread that he's pushed the wrong girl too far and caused her to embrace a latent, savage darkness https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bZzL6KW2Fw … https://twitter.com/shadyboyband/status/1264596736615604226 …

Cue the masked serial killer scrambling fearfully from cover to cover as I just blow walls and furniture apart with no regard for the sanctity of human life like I'm the fucking Kool-Aid man and I've gone down a rabbit hole from whence there is no return

I've always wanted a movie series like this, where the sole survivor becomes the villian in the next part. *cue lots of well actuallys about Saw and/or that Denzil movie*

Rogue Protagonist is, in general, one of my favorite tropes, as long as it's more complicated than a Blizzardian "he got eviled by doom juice" Probably the best example is Cody from Final Fight, whose initial heroics turned out to stem from a spiraling addiction to violence
