Benjanun Sriduangkaew Retweeted harry cock roach hope account 🙏
Naturally a person who's not anti-Semitic would reproduce anti-Semitic propaganda word for word, that makes a lot of sense.https://twitter.com/zrizzletheman/status/1264802509417263106?s=20 …

harry cock roach hope account 🙏 @zrizzlethemanReplying to @benjanun_sintent matters when talking about the personal moral righteousness of an individual. "were the goblins anti-Semitic" and "is jk Rowling an anti Semite" are two separate questions. intent doesn't matter for the first, it matters for the second2 replies 0 retweets 12 likesShow this thread -
Rowling can do what she wants. If she recognizes that she's been a bigoted worm and wants to correct it, she can absolutely redo her shitty children's books and issue a new edition--writers less famous/successful have been able to do so. She hasn't. Why? Because she doesn't care.

I'm not kidding. Michael Moorcock did it. There's 0 reason Rowling can't. She can get her lawyers to instantly yank her book rights from Bloomsbury if she likes. She doesn't because, as I've kept saying, she doesn't care and her bigotry has increased rather than mellowed out.

In Moorcock's case, he issued a new edition with a significant change in a rape scene. This was done way before books were digitized too, so Rowling has no excuses.

Yeah also Orson Scott Card withdrew and pulped the edition of Ender's Game that had the N-word in it, and went so far as to publicly advertise that anyone who owned the first edition could send it to him for a replacement at his expense

Which, probably, was more to protect his own reputation rather than out of principle, but honestly those two ought to be the same thing, it's a good thing when pragmatism aligns with principle, it means the system is working

Yep, in Rowling's case she legitimately doesn't care (and the damage to her reputation's not going to put any dent in her billions of pounds or whatever).
