I need this whole thing to not be real, please and thank you. Apparently the owner may have had another company that was sued for not delivering videos and has a history of not paying contractors. Maybe tanking their reputation and starting over is their business model.

I imagine that if you work in the wedding field, having a "no refunds if wedding cancelled" policy is a must. But surely it's obvious that you'd make an exception if one of the people getting married DIED - not only is it the right thing to do, but it doesn't happen that often.

To be clear, reading further down it sounds like this is a problem with this particular company being psychopaths, and that every other vendor did the right thing. Because seriously, that's a no-brainer.
