this is basically lunacy. If they are wearing the mask to protect their child, that means they are infected and should self-quarantine. The mask serves zero purpose in preventing them from acquiring the infection.

The virus is dissolved in saliva droplets, which has repeatedly been shown to be by far the most likely way to catch it, and a cloth mask is very effective at stopping droplets at flying out of your mouth
