Omg is everyone white knighting Bill Gates not able to use Google? He is making quantum dot tattoos with a very similar functionality to a chip. It's not a crazy conspiracy.https://www.sciencealert.com/an-invisible-quantum-dot-tattoo-is-being-suggested-to-id-vaccinated-kids …

This is not "very similar functionality to a chip" except in the sense that a chip is a small thing you can stick into another thing

I'm talking about an rfid chip. Ugh. Why are people intentionally misunderstanding this?

Right so it's similar to a chip in the same way that a nametag on your shirt is similar to a phone

Not the first dumb comparison I've had so I'm just copy paste my reply: It is a passive implant used to retrieve (or interpret) information about the carrier. That is the same basic function of a chip and the quantum dot. But you do you.

Right, like getting a tattoo with my name on it

The whole point is that a chip is in theory *easier* to read than physically reading my name with your eyes (can be read from a longer distance with less effort), and this tattoo is *harder* to read than a normal tattoo of my name (has to be read up-close with special equipment)
