this episode features a half-klingon lady who is pretty sexy imo. also it has troi doing the usual troi thing of using betazoid powers to sense the emotions of people whose emotions are already really obvious

like in this episode she sensed that klingon lady, who had just smashed a glass table into pieces with her fist, was angry. tho at least they did kind of lampshade it in the dialogue

ferengi "you must be hiding something valuable, give it to us in ten minutes or you die" *goes to commercial* captain's log: i am in the middle of a crisis situation. time is of the essence, but first, i had to stop to record this log so as to recap after commercials

interestingly, one of the ferengi is played by armin shimerman, who would of course go on to play quark on DS9.
