if the force can stop bad things happening to people that means every bad thing that happened to you happened because you weren't important enough for the force to step in, because you don't count as much to it as Ben Solo or Rey, that it thinks you DESERVE bad things

Well, none of these people exist They're all just thoughts inside the mind of one real person, who made them up in order to tell a story he found enjoyable Darth Vader killing billions of NPCs has no true moral meaning because Vader and the NPCs alike are just George Lucas

Taken as a literal description of the real world, this is pretty much Calvinist theology, and something at least similar to this is the mindset behind fatalism as a general concept in other religions
