it's sort of interesting to me, because "declare the rules don't apply and just go ahead" actually has a pretty good track record for conservatives, like they generally do get away with shit like go ask bundy or the other bundy or those guys with ar's storming capitols

I have thought about this. I have a switch in my head like a break to goes *oops, new rules!* that triggers the instant I detect an emergency. When I notice other people try to go on normally? That freaks me out more than the emergency.
