The words "everybody", "women", "mothers", "parents", etc all do not appear at all in Owen's tweet despite people repeatedly insisting that they do

Owen Jones only dares to pontificate about how easy it is to keep a house full of people clean because he knows nothing about it. He doesn’t have to use the word woman, his ignorance and dismissal of that kind of work says it all. He shouldn’t be so ignorant should he?

And again we return to the canard that trans women have power over cis women rather than vice versa which is what this was actually always about (which is why mysteriously every single one of the people yelling at Owen about this yells about trans people the rest of the time)

The reason why so many women were up in arms about what Owen said? Because it was abundantly clear that he had no idea what he was talking about. And why’s that? Well I think Glosswitch hit the nail on the head when she said the following, that’s why GC folks have called him out.pic.twitter.com/eXyRa7Cbqm

You know that relaxing restrictions and letting cleaning services return to work is literally demanding that women risk their lives so they can scrub floors for men

He doesn’t give a shit about women, that’s why he doesn’t know the effort involved in keeping a family house clean! His appropriation of the moral high ground in this debate is obscene as a result! This is so reminiscent of the colonisation of womanhood attempted by so many TRAs.

He apparently gives a shit about the women employed as cleaners who would be expending that effort at the cost of risking their lives thanks to the government's new guidance

Only when it suits him. That’s why his credibility as a protector of women who live in poverty is an absolute joke.

No, he's been pretty consistent about this particular topic, in fact he's the one who wants to keep on bringing it back to this when everyone else wants to branch out and argue about other things
