I thought about that when reading @euny's book about, among other things, how deeply Koreans have historically despised and resented (held "han" for) the Chinese and Japanese
I joke about this all the time, how you can't comprehend how much Asians hate each other

But I've come to grow annoyed over it Like, is any of this really your business, Chuck and Karen Are you really interested in learning about the bloody history between China and Japan - and the West's own complicity in it - or is this another way you get to gawk at foreigners

Like I almost don't want to talk about Taiwan or the Chinese Civil War if it just means white people get to feel like the United States is somehow the good guy in this story or breathe this sigh of relief "Well I'm glad my country didn't go through that"
