Well you know, I’ve been thinking of my response for 3 hours - gotta keep you happy. I was just wondering whether there are any men in their own right, rather than just lazy women’s husbands, who have been singled out as entitled fucks who want to kill poor people?

You and the rest of the people turning this into such a massive issue are wilfully ignoring the fact that this is largely a critique by working class woc against middle class white women. Being allowed to be messy in this society is a class issue.

We live in a world where Sarah vine is allowed to boast about the fact that her daughter’s room looks like this, when her and her ilk would happily take this as evidence of working class people’s fecklessness and need for discipline.https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-7979759/amp/SARAH-VINE-says-daughters-pit-makes-warthogs-look-house-proud.html …

The same way that posh people revel in wearing tracksuits and clothes with holes in them, while poor people would be judged and scapegoated and denied employment or followed round a shop for it.

So just as working class women making fun of posh women for dressing like shit would not equal sexist policing of beauty standards, working class women making fun of the likes of Sarah ditum for not being able to get her kids to do chores and keep her house clean =/ sexism either

But it isn’t at all... it’s middle class women/men deciding how working class women feel about something without asking and then projecting their own class guilt onto other women who are not even all middle class.

Despite all of the threads, insults, misogyny & everything else... I’m STILL the only person who asked my cleaners how they felt. That’s just a fact. & even though I’m BAME, they’re white & we all grew up in the same environment, people are trying to make it a race/class thing.

If I was Boris Johnson, I’d be *so* fucking happy that young people were spending their time shitting on feminist Guardian columnists for not prioritising cleaning their kitchens properly

If I were Boris Johnson I'd be pretty happy that you and your friends were out here derailing criticisms of my government's murderous policy of approving cleaners returning to work

I don’t care if Boris is right or wrong, he means nothing to me. All I care about is whether it can be done safely, which in this case it can.

Do you care that the source of the assertion that it is safe comes from Boris' government of incompetent liars who hate the poor

I’m not sure we should be starting a huge argument retweeted to followers in the mentions of someone who has asked to be @‘ed out of this
