Yeah - I mean, I'm not convinced there isn't a germ of SOMETHING there, it's just all gone so deeply off the rails when it's become about the exposure to a deadly virus, rather than life choices.

Outsourcing labor that was traditionally done by women at home does not remove the gendered aspects of it, of course. But I think it does re-orient them: it becomes about sexism in labor markets, rather than in family units.
