Here's the thing, too: it's actually a significant observation that, in circumstances where people have to perform more of their own domestic work, that burden will disproportionately fall on women. That's a real issue, and the fact that men in those households refuse is too.

But the offered resolution to that issue is a disaster! The rest of the time, hiring people to do work that nobody in the household wants to do, is a great option if you can afford it. There's just this thing where that's super-dangerous now.
