To be fair, what he said was that people at home have 'more time' now, and that they're 'unbelievably selfish'. I love having childless young men lecture me on how to delegate my time. That's what I love.

A lot of people talk about how being 100% responsible for a small human's safety and welfare 24/7 is so stressful it just burns out your ability to give a shit about what happens to anyone else Which is certainly understandable, but kind of messed up

I mean like when they try to get you to become a parent they argue the exact opposite, that being a parent makes you an overall better and more empathetic person toward the whole world, it makes you a truly responsible adult
