Watching Fuller House has given us a strange biography of Steve Urkel's later life. 1) Urkel, the real person, exists 2) Steve Hale mentions having an Urkel doll 3) In the ep w/ vicky, DJ & Steph mention "finding Urkel" the same way 4) Kimmy bought the grave plot next to Urkel's

Urkel visited both Full House and Step by Step in the 90s. Then later, Step by Step made a joke about a character discovering Michelle on Full House was two actresses. I’ve been pondering the canonical ramifications of that for years.

He appears in Step by Step as an end credits/opening credits gag where he loses control of his jetpack and flies all the way from Chicago to Green Bay and lands in their backyard

It is never really explained why this leads to him just living with them for like a whole week or so after this incident, or what factor causes him to leave after that episode I guess he's "repairing his jetpack" but wouldn't it be easier to buy him a bus ticket

I thunk his parents refused to send him bus fare.

Yeah but I find it hard to believe the Lamberts would find it easier to give him free room and board for several days than to buy the bus ticket themselves

I know, I know, it's TGIF, but Step By Step was always *slightly* more grounded in reality than the other shows, especially about money

Man, that time Cody divined the lotto numbers, thanks to his cheese head, but gave them away to *everyone*.

Okay I actually looked this up and on the Step By Step episode Mark says that Steve is his Internet friend who was working on a science project with him Even though they live in different states and Steve is 14 while Mark is 10

Which implies that when Steve accidentally set off the jetpack in the Family Matters episode and found himself flying to Wisconsin he deliberately aimed for the Lambert house because he already knew Mark's address That all seems very sketchy to me
