And it turned out Jobs just made that up and the clients were clueless about the concept of hardware memory limitations and would've paid for any number of chips on the circuit board And this gets told as a funny story about how Jobs always brought out the best in Woz

That story about how Edison built the first working carbon filament light bulb by making everyone sleep at the office and live on coffee and donuts he had a lady bring in and just work continuously making prototypes until they fainted from exhaustion

And this gets taught in school as a *good thing*, as an *inspiring story* With the same spin they do for Musk - "Well he was right there on the floor with them"

I don't give a shit No union organizer says "Well if Elon is there too then that's okay" Assuming that hype is true that's his own neurosis and his own fucking problem

Now do Michael Jordan. Can you really fault the process if it results?

Michael Jordan's teammates got paid a lot more than Elon's employees and the baskets they scored were recorded by statskeepers as theirs and not his It's really not the same thing

Although, yes, punching Steve Kerr was not okay and should not be normalized as the kind of thing you do to win basketball games

No no you don’t understand, the NBA didn’t have champions for like the first 70 years of existence because nobody was willing to punch teammates or fat/height shame a team executive.

But seriously, as much as I enjoyed the Bulls title teams in my youth, it’s nice to see seemingly nice guys like Curry and LeBron win stuff.

I'm not that much of a sports guy but from what I've seen LeBron has been through a lot of shit that should legitimately make him very angry and yet has remained a shockingly nice person through all of it and that alone puts him over MJ in my book

Like hey you remember this extremely memeable moment from Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Championship, when JR Smith blundered the game away because he wasn't paying attention and thought they were winning instead of tied Can you IMAGINE if that had been Michael Jordanpic.twitter.com/ANCB4VtJQi

I remember the first time I watched Lebron, was his senior year of high school, ESPN was showing the game. And even with the world watching he didnt play for himself. And after the game when he talked I just went "that's a high school senior?", he was just so articulate

To wit: Lebron & JR lost the title that year. So are we to feel Jordan (and the aggressive leadership topic at hand) is the right style to win?

I was taken aback when MJ says "ask anyone that played with me, I never asked of them anything I wouldn't do." Which seems right in line with "He was right there on the floor with them" stories
