The biggest reason I'm really not skeptical of Cyberpunk 2077 on trans issues is Keanu Reeves as a voice actor. It's true that VAs usually get little input, but Keanu is kind of a really big deal and I honestly do trust him on trans issues

Like Keanu quietly throws his weight behind trans stuff. I don't know if he just became aware of trans issues after working with the Wachowskis or if he has some other preexisting connection, >

but it's not a coincidence, for ex, that the directors of John Wick 3 confirmed that the Arbitrator or whatever they're called is non binary like their actress. No way that would have been publicly stated w/o some pressure

He's also the highest profile actor I know of to have openly dated a trans woman, albeit casually and for a short time and possibly just to swap stories on what it's like being Lana W's self insert but still

There was, for the record, never any official confirmation of them dating

Keanu didn't talk openly about his love life for many many years and the thing about him and Jamie Clayton was because paparazzi caught him kissing her before she got in a car (notably because they weren't going home together)

And the kiss, IIRC, was speculated on by said scumbag paparazzi as ambiguous (fully on the lips, but not prolonged, no tongue) They could've just been very friendly

It's not that I don't see the appeal in saying they dated but I mean they're both people who were kind of hounded mercilessly by gossip rags for different reasons so some circumspection may be called for
