It's also, like - the point of this is not to specifically discourage students from talking to their parents. It's to give them the option.

Students can share, and parents can, of course, ask. What's at stake is that students who, for whatever reason, don't want their parents listening in have that option. And I mean, I didn't like it when my dad would check my math homework.
