Yeah, except only a year later the town was being rebuilt, but when you see it in LIS2 a couple years after THAT, it's nothing but uninhabited ruins

It's funny because if you were hoping for the Prescott family's crimes to be exposed and for them to fall from grace, the LiS comics establish that this would also cause the town rebuilding project to fail

I mean, the influence the Prescott's have over the town was a large part of why I felt "fuck Arcadia Bay, burn it all down anyway" so I guess that's panning out

And yeah I guess all of the many people who would have reason to contest Mr Prescott's portrayal of his son's character and his place within the Arcadia Bay community are now too dead, traumatized or paid off to say anything

OITNB's portrayal of "Psych" and Suzanne's backstory and everything really put a damper on all that "Maybe he'll get help in prison" kind of speculation
