It's horrific. We have stabbings over here but at least knives are typically more survivable than bullets.

they say, conservative politics consists of a single principle: there must be some groups the law binds but does not protect, and some it protects but does not bind people in the latter group are losing their fucking minds to discover that the law sometimes binds them too

Security work has a lot of wannabe cops who couldn't make the cut, and they're pretty awful people. But it has a lot of decent people with few other options, and either way they don't deserve to die for stating company policy.

Yeah I know the Paul Blart stereotype (or the more serious Seth Rogen in Observe and Report stereotype) but literally none of the people I met while interviewing for this job were like that, it was 100% financial desperation
