The UK Office and the US Office in its heyday were pretty courageous about just making the random employees unattractive Physically unattractive, yes, but also just not really people you'd choose to spend time around

Hadn't thought about it before, but that's an interesting point. After enough time, you get sucked into the "we're a family" thing, & UK Office just didn't give you enough time for it. Thinking about that sequence where David Brent goes around saying his goodbyes and nobody cares
