Not that language is *simpler* than the concept of the fallacy implies but it's *more complicated* - there are many different levels of "saying a word" that have different meaning and different impact based on when and how and where you say it, and who says it to whom

We all know this and we all navigate it every day, and to try to compress it all down into one simplistic binary is tiresome It's a game people play to tell us when we are and aren't allowed to use our brain and read beyond the surface meaning of an utterance
